A relatively unheard-of derivative of the 9-3 featuring a High-Output Turbo 2.3L 4-Cylinder engine cranking 230HP. This means that it blows away Corvettes and gets good gas mileage while doing it! (2 full tanks of gas from Vancouver-San Francisco). Of course this matters lots when you’re in bumper-to-bumper on the San Mateo bridge. A total of 450 are sold each year in North America.
Yes, I have lengthened my commute but it’s all freeway and I exit right before the biggest bottleneck on the 101 in either direction. Also, through the magic of the “Internet” I can work from home a lot.
