Interestingly, if MSFT moves to Vancouver it may become a whole lot harder to retain development/engineering talent in the area in the short term. This will deeply hurt the startup community that is just barely getting going there, I think. Long term, it could be Vancouver’s next major boom and will make it a Mecca for startups five years from now.
