Throughout, Shifman exhibits a rather impressive degree of stupidity in the face of obviously overwhelming intellectual resources.

If you hate SPAM then he’s a whipping boy of Cantor-esque magnitude. I suggest that we skip straigh to his offer to call him, bypassing the need for pesky emails, and congratulate him for his genius and offer him positions right away.
