Let me give you a hint: A. Lincoln, when he was running an whole f-ing Civil War and stuff had big swings in emotion but he followed a simple rule: for letter he was not sure of, he always waited 24 hrs. before sending them. About a half of all those (and they are in the archives) he never sent and often he was grateful to have the patience and wisdom to give it night’s rest and new perspective and all that. Honest.
