MSFT is no longer the “devil” that the media, and various communities pegged them to be for their “monopolistic” ways. Instead the “new devil” is in Apple who is quietly goes about integrating a OS, UI and services into an effective closed system. Of course, Apple’s answer is that this intregrated IP is a of delivarying a “total customer solution”. Sound familiar? I can still hear Bill Gates saying those exact same words many moons ago. Its almost getting to the point where many will start to feel sorry for MSFT and view them as the under-dog!

I use Ubuntu – Open Source – and enjoy the same type of Microsoft products without the cost.
