When I pitch to investors in Silicon Valley, and we get to the inevitable part where they lean on me to move the start-up down south, I always bring up SR&ED and explain that every dollar they invest, really buys $1.30 of development. And that’s before you factor in exchange rate, and lower salaries. That always gives them pause.
